Holyoke Medical Center was the first hospital in Western Massachusetts to successfully complete the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.

stroke 2013 Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus Achievement Award (Stroke)
Holyoke Medical Center has reached an aggressive goal of treating stroke patients with 85% or higher compliance to core standard levels of care as outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for 12 consecutive months. In addition, Holyoke Medical Center has demonstrated at least 75% compliance to 7 out of 10 stroke quality measures during the 12-month period.

cap College of American Pathologists (CAP)
Holyoke Medical Center has accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) based on the results of a rigorous on-site inspection. The CAP accreditation process is designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients. On-site inspectors examine the laboratory's records and quality control for all procedures for the preceding two years. Also examined are the laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management. Holyoke Medical Center is one of only 7,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide.
