Holyoke Medical Center Presents Program on Sleep

Holyoke Medical Center will present, "Sleep...What is Normal for Your Age?" with Dr. Sivakumar Padmanabhan on Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. in the medical center's Auxiliary Conference Center.

Many of us question what is normal and abnormal for sleep? Does snoring indicate a problem? Is getting to sleep or getting too much sleep a problem? What happens when someone is sleep deprived and what are the dangers of sleep deprivation?

It's common for people to have trouble sleeping every now and then but when is it time to have a sleep evaluation to find out if you are one of the millions of Americans with a sleep disorder. Join Dr. Sivakumar Padmanabhan as he discusses some of the symptoms of common sleep disorders, ways you may be able to help yourself, and when it's time to see a doctor.

Pre-registration is suggested but not necessary. For further information, contact Holyoke Medical Center's Health Promotion Line at (413) 534-2532.
