The Birthing Center at Holyoke Medical Center is the next best thing to being at home. Since its inception, the Birthing Center has offered private, comfortable and warmly decorated, single-room labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care, with an emergency delivery/cesarean section operating room just down the hallway. The experienced staff strives to make the birthing experience truly the woman's choice. Options range from self administered epidural pain management to laboring and delivering in our birthing tub. Long before your baby’s delivery, we will work with you and your family to plan the birthing experience you want.
