Health Insurance

Our highly competitive insurance coverage is available to employees working 30 or more scheduled hours per week. Employees working 24-29 hours are eligible to medical and dental benefits at part time rates. Provided by Blue Benefit Administrators of Massachusetts, most services utilized at Holyoke Medical Center have 100% coverage. 

Dental Insurance

Payments on preventative, restorative, and orthodontia expenses with Delta Dental. 

Vision Insurance

Coverage for eye exams, imaging frames, and additional discounts with EyeMed Vision Care. 

Disability and Life Insurance

Employees working 30 or more scheduled hours per week will be eligible for employer paid Long Term Disability and Life Insurance benefits after 90 days of employment. 

Voluntary Insurance

Employees interested in purchasing additional Life Insurance, Cancer Insurance, and/or Short Term Disability Insurance, will have the ability to utilize payroll deduction with Colonial Life Insurance Co. 

Auto & Home Insurance

Discounted Auto & Home Insurance is available for payroll deduction with Goss & McClain Insurance. 

Retirement Planning

Holyoke Medical Center offers a 403(b) Retirement Plan with Sentinel Benefits along with annual employer matching under specific criteria. 

CEU & Degree Program Reimbursement

Holyoke Medical Center offers a generous reimbursement program for employees working 20 or more scheduled hours per week:

  • CEU Reimbursement: up to $1,000 per fiscal year
  • College Degree Reimbursement: up to $7,000 per fiscal year

Earned Time

Holyoke Medical Center offers a competitive “time-off” package, including vacation, personal time, 10 paid holidays annually, along with sick time accruals. 

Confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employees and their household members are provided with free and confidential counseling services provided by River Valley Counseling Center. 

Wellness / Fitness Reimbursement

Employees participating in the employer health insurance are eligible for up to $300 per calendar year for wellness and fitness expenses. 

Free On site Exercise Classes

Regular Zumba and Yoga classes are provided for employees, as well as their friends and family.

A massage chair is also available in every nursing unit break room.

Dry-Cleaning Services

Holyoke Medical Center offers on-site dry cleaning pick-up and delivery with General Cleaners.

Employee Referral Program

Some positions are harder to fill than others. For specified difficult-to-fill positions a $3,000 or $5,000 referral bonus is offered for any friends that are hired based on your referral. 

Great IDEA Program

Holyoke Medical Center is focused on providing affordable, high quality care. Employees who present a cost-saving initiative could earn 5% (up to $25,000) of the first year savings if the IDEA is implemented.
