External Candidate Hiring Process

From job search to New Employee Orientation, our team is here to support you throughout the hiring process.

1. Job search & application

Search by job title/keyword, location, or department. Your search will populate a list of jobs that you can further refine using available filters. Once you identify a job that matches your interests and experience, click the “Apply” button. From there, you’ll begin the online application process.

2. Application screening & interview

After you apply, and if you meet the requirements of the position, the recruiter will send your application to the hiring manager for review. Candidates who pass the initial screening may be invited to an interview with a hiring manager. Virtual interviews use Google Meet. To ensure a smoother interview process, we recommend you download Google Meets in advance.

3. Offer

If you are offered a position, your recruiter will connect with you verbally on the phone, after which you will receive an electronic offer letter which requires your acceptance. The e-offer letter triggers the onboarding process.

4. Onboarding

The safety of our patients, visitors and caregivers is a top priority. To help ensure a safe environment, the following time-sensitive requirements will be part of your onboarding process:

  • Background check which includes work and personal history, a Criminal Offender Record Inquiry (CORI), an Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Exclusion Database check, and the Massachusetts Nurse Aid Registry
  • Completion of a job-related medical examination, including a urine drug analysis and immunization review
  • Completing your I-9
  • Setting up your payment elections for Direct Deposit
  • Completing your Federal and State tax withholding information
  • Other forms and documents
