Carly Melissa Muñiz, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly a decade of clinical experience since graduating in 2016. She has built a strong clinical foundation across emergency medicine, wound care, urgent care, and primary care, with much of her early career spent in high-acuity Emergency Department settings.

Carly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Cum Laude, with a minor in Chemistry from the College of Our Lady of the Elms, followed by her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Bay Path University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

She holds specialized training in Advanced Wound Care, including sharp debridement, infection control, offloading strategies, compression therapy, and application of cellular and tissue-based products (CTPs/skin substitutes). Her advanced Healogics training includes the Healogics Advanced Wound Care Certification (CME) along with multiple clinical training modules.

Carly now provides comprehensive primary care at HMC Primary Care at 129 College Street in South Hadley, where she focuses on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute care, and integrated wound management. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is dedicated to creating a compassionate, welcoming, and patient-centered experience for every individual she serves.

Carly has been on the medical staff at Holyoke Medical Center since 2017.
