HOLYOKE – October 24, 2025 — Holyoke Medical Center expands services in Springfield to include Walk-In Care, Family Medicine, and Podiatry. The HMC Springfield Outpatient Center located at 2150 Main Street is also home to HMC Kidney Associates, Neurology & Sleep, Rheumatology, lab draw, and CORE physical and occupational therapy. X-Ray services are also expected to open at this location by the end of the year.

The HMC Walk-In Care office located in Springfield will open on Monday, October 27, 2025. The Walk-In offers same-day treatment services for non-emergent conditions such as seasonal allergies, sore throat, aches and pains, fever, and more. The hours of operation will be Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Hours may vary due to patient demand. The HMC Springfield Family Medicine office opened in September. The office currently has one primary care physician, Carlos Herrera, MD. He will be joined by Christina Idowu, MD; Jumana Jaloudi, DO; and Sanjana Pai, MD, within the next few months. The doctors are currently accepting new patients. The new HMC Podiatry Center is staffed by Chinenye Wachuku-Miranda, DPM, MBA, MEng, Department Head of Podiatry, and Mujtaba Qureshi, DPM, AACFAS. “We offer a full range of services, including advanced surgical procedures such as forefoot, ankle, and rearfoot reconstruction; diabetic foot care; wound management; sports injury care; and trauma care,” Dr. Wachuku-Miranda says. “Our Springfield office is equipped with modern supplies to support in-office diagnostics and procedures and is closely integrated with surgical and wound-care services at HMC.” To make an appointment, please call 413.535.4943
