HOLYOKE, MA – November 11, 2025 – Holyoke Medical Center will be hosting a free Health & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, November 12 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Holyoke YMCA located at 171 Pine Street. This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored in part by the Holyoke YMCA and Dexcom.
“Holyoke Medical Center is excited to once again partner with the Holyoke YMCA to offer this community event with activities and information for the whole family,” says Lisa Wray Schechterle, Director of Community Benefits at Holyoke Medical Center. “We will also have several free raffle prizes available, including immersion blenders, food choppers, exercise equipment, and screen time alternatives, all helping people achieve a more healthy and balanced lifestyle.”
Guests can learn about various Holyoke Medical Center specialties, including the HMC Pharmacy, Endocrinology & Diabetes Center, Cardiovascular Center, and General & Specialty Surgery. Holyoke Medical Center, Holyoke Health Center, and Holyoke Community College culinary students will be collaborating to offer healthy food demonstrations and samples.
The Greater Holyoke YMCA will have the EVOLT 360 body composition scanner available. The state-of-the-art scanner provides over 40 different measurements with just one scan, providing detailed analysis of participant’s health, including body fat percentage, metabolic age, fitness level, visceral fat, and more. The scanner helps people set targeted fitness goals.
