HMC Neurology & Sleep offers a full spectrum of neurological services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
Headaches & Migraines
HMC Neurology & Sleep is focused on helping people with headaches feel better through proper diagnosis and treatment.
We also offer Botox injections for the treatment of chronic headaches.
Dementia & Memory Disorders
HMC Neurology & Sleep offers a full evaluation for the proper diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and other memory disorders. Diagnosis involves blood tests and imaging, such as MRI, CT scan, and/or PET scan. Treatment depends on the type and severity of memory disorder, but may involve medication and lifestyle changes.
Stroke Care
The Neurology & Sleep team works closely with the HMC Emergency Department and has been nationally recognized since 2007.
Beyond emergency care, we provide comprehensive follow-up care, focusing on stroke prevention, recovery, and long-term neurological health. Our expertise and commitment are central to improving outcomes and reducing disability for every stroke patient we serve.
Epilepsy
Our Board certified neurologists can diagnose and treat unprovoked seizures. Every patient’s situation is evaluated and treatment is based upon each individual’s final diagnosis.
Movement Disorders
HMC Neurology & Sleep features a comprehensive movement disorder clinic for movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor, Ataxia and Dystonia. Our goal is to help patients improve their symptoms and quality of life. We offer diagnosis and treatment for all types of movement disorders.
Sleep Disorders
Our team is highly qualified and specially trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, parasomnias, and circadian rhythm sleep disorder.
Operating with the latest technology for the diagnosis of sleep disorders, our Sleep Medicine Program can provide patients with the best possible care in a relaxed environment.
Neuromuscular Disorders
Our team of experts are able to diagnose and treat a multitude of conditions that effect the nerves and muscles, such as neuropathies, myopathies, myasthenia gravis, ALS (or Lou Gehrig’s disease), and other neuromuscular disorders.
