If you live in Massachusetts, you may be able to get health insurance or help paying your health care bills through a state program like MassHealth, the Health Connector or Health Safety Net. Each program has different rules and income limits.

If you do not have insurance, you may qualify for a discount. A paper application along with supporting documentation may be required. If your bills are for an emergency or medically necessary care, then you may be able to get a 54% discount if you do not qualify for any state programs. The discount amount will depend on your household income. If you qualify, you will not pay more than 46% of the total charges you owe. We update this amount each year. You have 240 days to apply for this once you receive a statement.
Discounts are for your hospital bill and for certain healthcare providers. Please see the provider listing at www.holyokehealth.com to see if your provider is covered.
You may set up a payment plan for any bill you receive from us. We do not charge interest on payment plans.
